Level 2 History
Course Description
Teacher in Charge: Mrs J. Turner.
This course explores the nature of revolutions and their role in shaping the modern world. After looking at various definitions of the term 'revolution', and a range of historical approaches to the study of revolutions, the course looks in turn at a series of case studies such as the Vietnamese and Russian revolutions, and their causes and consequences. There will also be an opportunity for you to carry out your own in-depth inquiry on a protest movement in Aotearoa New Zealand that is connected or relevant to New Zealand History.
