Explore a range of health-related topics that are engaging, relevant, and current. We will teach you ways to navigate life and allow you to explore your passions.
Semester one is our foundation course, which includes learning about hauora, staying mentally healthy, and positive relationships & sexuality.
Semester two- Arm yourself with game-changing skills and knowledge that will help you understand yourself and others better. This Health course covers:
*Fit for Life! What does it take to be fit for life? As you go through different life stages, how can you make sure your taha tinana is in tip-top shape, and how can you achieve balance with other areas of your hauora? *Circle of Friends. Need to make quality friends? Need to avoid drama and peer pressure? Do you sometimes overreact or not know what to do in social situations? Do you just want to be more confident around others? Learn how to connect with others and maintain real-life and online relationships.
