Course Description

Teacher in Charge: Mr S. Tisch.

Using the Technology Design Process, students will use the skills they have learned at Level 1 & 2 Hard Materials to design, project manage and construct their own project. They will have the freedom to create anything from a Pool Table to simple furniture projects. Students will use a range of tools and machines to create their projects under the supervision of the teacher.



                              


 


 



Course Overview

Term 1
In Term 1, you'll start researching and designing your project. Think carefully about its size, shape, and purpose to make sure you get the most out of it.

Term 2
In Term 2, you'll start building your project. You'll have access to most of the tools in the workshop to help you with your chosen design.

Term 3
In Term 3, you'll continue working on your project, and you'll likely be close to finishing it by the end of the term.

Term 4
Term 4 will see you working on analysing your project to ensure you have met the requirements to gain the NCEA standards.
