Year 10 English

Year 10 English is a literacy-based programme which will help students to develop skills in reading, writing, speaking, listening, viewing and presenting. Students will engage with a range of written, visual and oral texts. They will examine, evaluate, enjoy and be enriched by texts as they position themselves as readers and writers. Students will also explore aspects such as the context, content and conventions of language as they prepare for the NCEA Level 1 literacy common assessment activities (CAA) in reading and writing.
